Yasmina Abou Jaoude’s work explores material memory, knowledge horizons, and wall sculptures. Her current research centers on cutting and folding flat surfaces as both a philosophical and structural gesture, generating fractal qualities from singular planes. Drawing from natural processes and fundamental science, she creates tactile sculptural works that explore movement, tension, and transformation.

 

Born in Beirut and based in London, Yasmina graduated with a Diploma from the Architectural Association in London where she established the foundations of her experimental pursuits.

 

She recently visited CERN to collaborate with a fundamental physicist on a conceptual project ‘Flavour Unification’, a piece that was shown at the British Embassy in Paris. Her work has also been exhibited in London, Paris, and Beirut. She is an ongoing advisor to the Roving Reactor, a large-scale public initiative.
